About Dr. Lovett

Paris Lovett, MD, MBA, FACEP, FACHE is an Emergency Physician with expertise in emergency department and hospital operations. He has presented nationally and published in peer-reviewed journals on patient flow, efficiency and throughput in acute care hospitals and emergency departments.

Dr. Lovett combines his clinical work in Emergency Medicine with his role as the Chief Medical Officer of Repisodic, a digital health company that provides technology to hospitals to help them better discharge patients who require post-acute care (PAC).

Prior to joining Repisodic, Dr. Lovett was Chief Medical Officer of Hospital IQ, an online hospital operations management platform. Before that he was Chief Medical Officer at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. Before that he was Medical Director for Patient Flow at Thomas Jefferson University and Medical Director for the Emergency Department at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. In these leadership roles he has been responsible for managing projects and promoting physician alignment across clinical departments to improve efficiency and quality in patient care.

Dr. Lovett is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He received his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in Australia, did his residency in emergency medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, and earned an MBA at Columbia University.
